Counselling for life's turning points
Counselling with me provides a calm, confidential space to talk openly about what is happening and to begin finding a clearer way forward.
Areas I work with
Life transitions
Periods of change can be disorienting. You may be navigating divorce, separation, career change, relocation, or another major shift in your life.
Counselling can help you reflect on what has happened, understand what matters most to you, and begin moving forward with greater clarity
Relationship challenges
Relationships can be one of the most meaningful — and sometimes most difficult — parts of life.
People often seek counselling when they are experiencing:
• relationship conflict
• communication difficulties
• separation or divorce
• uncertainty about a relationship
• patterns that repeat across relationships
Counselling provides a space to explore these experiences and consider healthier ways of relating.
Feeling stuck or uncertain about direction
Sometimes the challenge is less visible.
You may feel:
• stuck in patterns that repeat
• uncertain about your future
• disconnected from purpose or direction
• dissatisfied with aspects of your life but unsure how to change them
Counselling can help clarify what is happening beneath these feelings and support you in making thoughtful decisions about what comes next.
Men navigating modern pressures
Many men experience loneliness, uncertainty about identity or difficulty talking openly about their lives.
Counselling can provide a space where these experiences can be explored without judgement, helping men develop greater emotional awareness, confidence and direction.
How Sessions Work
Sessions are conversational, reflective and focused on your current situation.
Together we explore what is happening in your life, the patterns or pressures contributing to the situation, and the options available moving forward.
My work draws on evidence-based approaches including:
• Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
• Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
• Motivational Interviewing
• Solution-Focused Therapy
These approaches help support both emotional understanding and practical change.
